About J Hidalgo Landscaping and Construction

Snow reaches Florham Park quietly, coming in over Columbia Turnpike in the dark while the town is asleep. J Hidalgo Landscaping and Construction is up in it, plowing long driveways, opening lots, clearing walks down to the pavement, and salting the low spots where meltwater runs and refreezes by four in the morning. Properties here are wide and tree-lined, which means a lot of turning, a lot of backing, and a lot of thought about where the piles go. Nobody sees the hours; they see the result, which is a driveway you can walk down in ordinary shoes at seven. That handoff, from a long night to an easy morning, is the whole job.
