About Pacheco's Landscaping

July fog lifts off the South Branch of the Raritan before sunrise, and the valley hangs onto that humidity all day long. Pacheco's Landscaping starts in the cool of it — mowing, trimming, edging and mulch across Flemington and the river towns close by. Bottomland grass comes on fast and thick here; a week's delay is the difference between a cut and a harvest. There is quiet pride in stepping back from a finished yard with the blade marks still fresh and the walks blown clean. The heat can have the afternoon, because the good work is already behind you.
