Main Street in Farmingdale still reads like the mill village it grew from, low storefronts along the road and the Manasquan running quietly behind them. Upkeep Lawn holds the grass along those streets to schedule from the first spring flush to the last cut of fall, keeping lawns mown, borders trimmed, walk edges reopened and the cuttings gone. Then the year turns and the same trucks are out before daylight, plowing driveways and salting walks after a storm has come through in the dark. A borough this size does not let anybody hide; the difference between a job finished and a job nearly finished is visible from the road. So it gets finished.
