About Interstate Landscaping & Construction, LLC

By midday in July the heat settles along South Avenue and every lawn in Fanwood is deciding whether to hold its color. Interstate Landscaping & Construction, LLC mows higher through those weeks, leaving the blade long enough to shade its own roots, and takes the hedges and shrubs down square while the growth is still soft. Trimming follows the fence lines and the foundation plantings; mulch goes in deep enough to keep the beds cool through August. When the weather finally breaks in September the same lawns come back thick, and the fall cleanup finds them in good shape. Hot-season work is mostly restraint, and restraint is the part that shows in October.
