About FCM TREE SERVICES LLC

Fairview is built on the side of the Palisades, streets pitched steep enough that every yard is a step down from the last and the sky opens east over the Hudson. FCM TREE SERVICES LLC works those hillside lots where one tree can stand close to three houses at once — pruning back growth that presses a wall, clearing limbs off roofs and cables, opening crowns so the river wind slips through them. There is no room to fell anything here, so a removal goes down in short lengths, rigged and lowered to the driveway. When weather comes up over the ridge and leaves branches strewn across a hill street, it's cleared, cut and taken away. Fairview, Cliffside Park, Ridgefield and the ridge blocks nearby end up with light on the windows and nothing overhead that shouldn't be.
