About Ron Pellegrino, Inc

A nor'easter reaches Lincoln Park sideways and wet, the heavy kind of snow that loads a driveway by inches an hour. Ron Pellegrino, Inc runs those nights along the low bottomland streets, pushing the banks back, reopening the aprons the town plow just closed again, cutting walkways down to bare concrete. Salt goes where the shade holds ice and where a grade would otherwise send a car drifting toward the curb. By first light the driveways are open and the day is allowed to happen on time. That is the whole of the work: snow moved, ice handled, a borough that gets where it is going.
