Bauer’s Tree Service

About Bauer’s Tree Service

The Delaware runs along the western edge of Ewing, and by winter the sycamores on the bank go white-limbed and hold the whole view together. Bauer's Tree Service works the neighborhoods behind them, from the Shabakunk Creek bottoms up to the ground above the feeder canal — pruning for clearance and light, cutting back what leans on a roof, taking the dead out of a big crown before it comes out on its own. River-bottom soil goes soft in a wet spring, and a tall tree standing in it earns a hard look; when removal is the answer, it happens in sections with the yard kept whole. After storms travel up the valley, the limbs are cleared and the wood loaded out until the lawn is walkable again. Ewing, Trenton, Lawrence and the Hopewell side end up with room to breathe overhead.
