About Anne Fahey Garden Design and Consulting

June mornings in Essex Fells arrive with dew heavy enough to darken your boots before you cross a lawn. Anne Fahey Garden Design and Consulting works those hours — mowing, trimming, edging and the steady tidying that keeps a planted property looking composed rather than merely cut. The borough's brooks run low and cool behind the houses, and the ground near them grows differently than the ground out by the road; the mowing takes that into account. A lawn is a shape as much as a surface, and its edges are where the shape shows. Done right, nobody notices the work — they only notice a place that looks thought about.
