Garden Nanny

About Garden Nanny

April around Depot Square smells like turned soil, and the first mowers of the year start up one street at a time. Garden Nanny takes the tending side of the work seriously — spring cleanups, mowing and trimming, bed edging, and steady lawn upkeep as the season finds its feet. Some yards need waking gently: a winter's worth of matted leaves comes off, the turf gets air and light, and green returns within the week. By May the grass is thick enough to walk barefoot on and the borders are drawn like a pencil line. Small work, quietly done, again and again, until an Englewood yard looks entirely at ease with itself.
