A nor'easter reaches Englewood out of the southeast, up off the water, and by midnight the streets have gone white and soundless. Luna's Landscaping is awake in it — plowing driveways, shoveling walks and front steps, spreading salt over the ice that hides beneath the pretty part. The measure of the night is simple: a door opens at six and the drive is already down to pavement. When the ground softens again, the same trucks come back for mowing, edging, trimming and spring and fall cleanups. Two very different jobs, one town, the same ground looked after the whole way around.
