In October the woods along the Palisades edge of Englewood Cliffs go copper, and the leaves come down on lawns for a solid month. Clean Green & In Between handles the whole arc of it — mowing while the grass is still growing, cleanups as the trees empty, then plowing, shoveling and de-icing once the season flips over. Yards up here run right to the tree line, so the border between kept lawn and the woods behind it has to be cut with some care. Winter leaves those same shaded drives slick and keeps them that way, and the salt goes down accordingly. Half of this trade is watching the sky and knowing what the ground underneath is about to do.
