A March nor'easter can drop wet snow onto ground that already has daffodils pushing up — that is shore weather, and Egg Harbor Township gets both halves of it. McGowan Landscaping is set up for the whole swing: plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks, salting the slick spots while winter holds, then turning straight into spring cleanups, mowing, edging and trimming. Heavy coastal snow is a different animal than dry inland powder; it comes fast, it stacks wet, and it wants clearing while it is still falling. The routes run through the township and out to Somers Point, Linwood, Absecon and Galloway. Two seasons, one standard — leave the property looking like somebody cared about it.
