About Bongarzone's Landscaping Inc.

Eatontown sits on flat coastal-plain ground — sand and loam that drains fast after a squall and greens up in a hurry once May warms it. Bongarzone's Landscaping Inc. works those yards early, while the grass still holds the night's damp and the light comes in low and sideways through the pin oaks. There is real satisfaction in the finish: stripes laid straight down a front lawn, the trimmer taking a fence line clean, an edge along the walk that reads like a drawn pencil mark. Spring is the wake-up, summer the steady weekly rhythm, autumn the long haul of leaves off the beds and the turf. Block after block, three miles inland from the ocean, it is ordinary work done with attention.
