Twin Rivers was drawn on paper before it was ever a neighborhood — courts and cul-de-sacs, shared walkways looping between the ponds, a whole community laid out in quadrants on the East Windsor flats. Snow lands on all of it at once, which makes clearing it a matter of order: lanes and parking areas first, then the driveways, then the paths people actually use to reach a car. Twin Rivers Community Trust works that plan storm by storm, plowing, clearing and salting where ice sets up along the curbs and in the shaded stretches that never see midday sun. A place built around walking has to be walkable by morning. When the paths are down to the pavement and the courts are open to the street, the neighborhood simply goes about its day.
