East Windsor was farm ground long before it was front lawns, and the sandy loam under these yards still remembers the furrow. Garden Artisans LLC works with that inheritance — mowing at a height the soil can carry through a dry July, edging beds so the mulch line holds, trimming the corners a mower cannot reach. Out where the newer streets meet the last of the corn, a lawn has to stand up to full sun and open wind, and it does when it is cut on a schedule instead of a whim.
