Luna’s landscaping

About Luna’s landscaping

West of East Orange the ground climbs to the Orange Mountain ridge, and in June the sun drops behind it while the city below is still holding the day's warmth. Luna's landscaping works those long evenings — mowing lawns into even bands, running the trimmer along fences and steps, opening the edge where grass meets pavement, cutting beds back so the plantings get air. Turf in this corner of Essex County runs hard from May to September and asks for a weekly hand to keep it in bounds. Cleanups on either end of the year do the heavy lifting, clearing out whatever the season put down. The last light catches the fresh stripes across a yard, and that is the whole reward.
