Jersey Scapes

About Jersey Scapes

East Orange packs a whole city into about four square miles, and on a May evening you can hear the Garden State Parkway humming underneath the birds. Jersey Scapes keeps the small front lawns of those blocks in order — weekly mowing, tight trimming around railings and posts, edged walks, and the cleanups that bracket the growing season on both ends. When a yard is fifteen feet deep, every pass is visible, so every pass gets walked straight. Spring here goes from bare to overgrown in roughly three weeks, and the honest answer to that is simply arriving on time. Dusk settles, the mower cuts out, and the grass stands level from the porch rail to the sidewalk.
