About Heinrich's Landscape & Waterproofing

April comes to East Orange wet, and the old plane trees along the avenues keep dripping for days after the rain has quit. Heinrich's Landscape & Waterproofing works the lawns underneath them — mowing once the ground firms up, trimming the shaded margins where moss wants to take hold, and clearing the beds of everything winter left behind. Grass in this city shares its light with tall street trees and taller houses, so cut height matters and timing matters more. Through summer the visits settle into a weekly cadence; in fall the canopy lets go all at once and the leaves get gathered and carried off. A lawn that greens evenly and holds a straight line where it meets the walk is the whole point of showing up.
