Evan's Elegant Landscapes

About Evan's Elegant Landscapes

A nor'easter usually reaches East Orange somewhere in the small hours, and by three in the morning the side streets of Ampere have gone under it. Evan's Elegant Landscapes is awake for that — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and front steps, spreading salt where building shade keeps ice long after sunrise. The blocks here are tight and the driveways short, which makes snow work a matter of precision rather than distance. There is a particular pleasure in finishing a drive before the household stirs, leaving nothing behind but bare pavement and a bank stacked neatly at the edge. Come daylight the street moves, and nobody has to give it a thought.
