Campos Tree Service

About Campos Tree Service

On a July morning Blackwell Street fills with the smell of the bakeries and the hills above Dover hold the heat until noon. Campos Tree Service climbs those steep side lots where a yard is really a slope with a tree standing on it — trimming for light, pruning out dead wood before it drops, cutting back branches that crowd a neighbor's fence. Old mill-town blocks leave no room to work wide, so a removal goes down rope by rope, over the roofline and into the truck. Thunderstorms build over the ridges most summer afternoons; when one takes a limb, they come back for the wreck and leave the slope clear. Dover, Wharton, Rockaway and Victory Gardens keep their canopy this way, one lot at a time.
