A real nor'easter is born out over the ocean and works its way north until it finds the Passaic Valley, and by then it means it. Nor'Easter Snowplowing LLC is named for the thing it drives into: plowing Clifton driveways and lots, shoveling walks and steps, salting the ice that forms behind the storm's back. Wind here crosses open ground and puts snow right back where it was, so the route gets run more than once. Somewhere near dawn the last pass is made and the pavement finally stays dark. Then the trucks come home and wait for the next low to spin up the coast.
