About Green Roots Organic

West of the city center the land begins to climb toward the first Watchung ridge, and the streets off Highland Avenue tilt just enough that every front lawn is a small hillside. Green Roots Organic takes care of those lawns — mowing across the pitch, edging the walks and steps, trimming the borders, and running the spring and fall cleanups that reset a yard. Sloped turf in Orange holds water differently at the top than at the bottom, and it shows in how it greens up in May. Learning a block's habits is half of it; the other half is arriving when you said you would. What comes of it is a run of tidy green squares climbing the hill, which is a fine thing to look back at.
