About Golden Wolf Landscape & Design

A February storm comes into the Highlands from the northwest with the wind running ahead of it, and by midnight the long gravel drives set back in Chester's woods have gone to one soft, featureless white. Golden Wolf Landscape & Design works the hours nobody sees: plowing, shoveling steps and walks, and spreading salt where the shade keeps ice past noon. On this ground the plow line has to be planned — where the banks go, which way the melt will run when the sun finally does its part. The finish is undramatic and complete: bare pavement in the dark, tire tracks by seven, a day that starts on time. Snow is the whole trade here, and it is a good one.
