Chatham-Kent Lawn & Snow

About Chatham-Kent Lawn & Snow

The 6:12 to Hoboken does not wait for weather, and on a January morning the lot by the Chatham platform has to be open long before the headlights come down the line. Chatham-Kent Lawn & Snow plows and salts through those black-and-white hours — driveways, lots and walkways cleared and treated so people get out of town on schedule. Once the ground thaws they change over to mowing, edging and trimming, holding borough lawns to a steady weekly cut. Cleanups handle the rest of the year: winter grit raked out in March, the October leaf load carried off in a single pass. Two seasons, one truck, and the same idea either way — get there early and leave it clean.
