Balanced Turf

About Balanced Turf

Middle Township lies flat and open, and the fog that drifts in off the peninsula overnight usually lifts by nine, leaving the kind of light that shows every line in a lawn. Balanced Turf mows in that light, on sandy Cape May County ground that swallows a rainfall in an hour and asks for a steady hand the rest of the week. There is real satisfaction in an even cut here — one color across the whole yard, a clean line where grass meets walk, clippings cleared off before the heat climbs. The route runs through the neighborhoods off Route 9 and out toward the shore roads, one property at a time. When fall comes the leaves get gathered and the beds get put to rest, so the first warm week of spring finds the grass ready to go. Plain work, and it makes a whole street look looked-after.
