About LCL Inc

Cold pools in the hollows around Califon, and the hill roads toward Fairmount and Cokesbury can hold ice a full day after the sun has taken the ridge. LCL Inc works winters here and only winters — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways and steps, spreading salt and de-icer where grade and shade conspire. Storms in this valley tend to arrive overnight, which makes it a night job more often than not. By the time the school buses turn around, the drives are open and there is pavement showing again. There is something plain and good about laying the first tracks on a road.
