Green Scape

About Green Scape

Spring on the Burlington riverfront arrives with a wind off the Delaware that smells like rain three days early, and all over town the grass wakes up at once. Green Scape meets it with the first mow of the year and then keeps the rhythm going week after week — mowing, edging, string trimming, and the cleanups that clear out whatever winter left behind in the beds. There is a particular pleasure in that first cut, the color coming back all at once behind the mower. The rest of the season is simply keeping that promise. Green Scape serves Burlington and the small towns strung along the river below it.
