Grass Grinder

About Grass Grinder

The machines start early in Browns Mills. Grass Grinder runs lawn care here on June mornings when the dew is still holding the pine pollen down. Mow, trim, edge, clear the apron — the same four moves, repeated until the yard shows it. Under the tall pines the grass comes in thin and patchy in places, so it gets cut with that in mind instead of fought. What is left at the end of a street is a whole row of yards that finally look like Saturday.
