Finelli’s Landscaping

About Finelli’s Landscaping

Winter mornings in Brick begin in the dark, with the Metedeconk still black under the bridges and the first plow lights swinging up a driveway. Finelli's Landscaping works both ends of the year here — the blade and the salt when a storm has buried the streets near Windward Beach, the mower and the edger when June turns the lawns thick and fast. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway cleared to bare pavement before the coffee is made, and in a lawn whose border is cut so clean it looks drawn. Bay-town grass grows in sandy ground and takes patient feeding, so the mowing, the trimming and the hauling off of clippings and leaves happen on a rhythm the season sets. From the older river streets out to the newer developments, the work makes the same plain promise: a property that looks tended, whatever the sky is doing.
