About BT&M Contracting

In Bradley Beach the first snow of the year usually arrives sideways, blown in off an ocean that never quite freezes. Two blocks from the boardwalk the salt air turns it heavy and wet — the kind that packs hard at the foot of a driveway by morning. BT&M Contracting works those pre-dawn hours along Ocean Avenue and the numbered streets that run down to the sand, plowing driveways, opening walkways and putting salt down before the first door opens. There is a particular satisfaction in a black, dry driveway at sunrise with the water going gray-gold behind it. Winter on this square mile of shore is short and sharp, and the whole job is making sure nobody here has to think about it.
