About Blackwood tree services

Bound Brook sits low where the Raritan swings past, floodwall on one side and the Watchung ridge standing up on the other. Blackwood tree services works the streets between them — pruning the sycamores along the older blocks, trimming crowns off the roofs of narrow houses, taking down what has leaned too far toward a neighbor's wall. In a town this tight a removal is done from the top with a rope on every cut, and the wood goes out the front walk rather than across the lawn. Wind funnels along the river valley all year, and when it drops a limb over Main Street or a back alley the answer is cut, chip, sweep, gone. The block reopens and the sidewalk looks like nobody ever had to work there.
