Bloomfield Avenue at dusk in April — headlights, shopfronts, and everywhere off it the smell of the first cut of the year. Tom O'Shea Landscaping opens the season the same way it closes it, with mowing, edging, string trimming and the cleanups that carry a yard from thaw through to leaf-fall. There is a plainness to good lawn work: turn up when you said you would, cut at the right height, leave the walk clean behind you.
