Harmony Tree Care

About Harmony Tree Care

The wooded ridge on the Hardscrabble side of Bernardsville comes alive in May — beech leaves opening thin and bright until the whole hillside is the color of new paper. Harmony Tree Care works those slopes and the drives that switchback up them, pruning beech and oak that shade a house and taking out what has hollowed above a parking court. On a steep lot the plan matters more than the saw: rig it, lower it, carry it out without cutting a rut in the moss. After a spring blow the work is limbs off the roof, the drive opened to the road, and the brush chipped where it fell. The hillside keeps its canopy, and the house keeps clear footing underneath it.
