About Tamke Tree Experts Inc

In January the streets around Basking Ridge village go quiet and every big tree shows its frame — the oaks, the tulip poplars running straight up out of a front lawn fifty feet before a branch. Tamke Tree Experts Inc uses that clear season for pruning, cutting deadwood from the crowns and taking weight off limbs hanging over a slate roof or a turnaround. Along Harrison Brook the soft ground grows tall trees that eventually have to come out, and those go down in sections with a rope on every piece. Ice is the emergency here: a crown loads overnight, a limb lets go, and half a yard is under wood by breakfast. Cleared, chipped and raked, the lawn is ready for the thaw with nothing left but a level stump and a stack of split oak.
