About Russo’s Landscape Design

By September the light comes in sideways across Berlin's lawns and every border throws a shadow — which is when you find out whether the edging was done or only mostly done. Russo's Landscape Design cares about that line: turf cut to an even height, borders trimmed clean, the grass stopped exactly where it ought to stop and not an inch beyond. Mowing here runs from the early warmth well into the fall, and the cleanups follow the trees down. It's steady work and it compounds — a property tended on a schedule keeps getting better instead of merely holding on. Late in the day, with the shadows out, a yard done right practically draws itself.
