Express Lawn and Landscaping

About Express Lawn and Landscaping

Six in the morning in West Berlin: dew still sitting on everything, trailer gate down, one engine and then another. Express Lawn and Landscaping starts early because the route is long — grass cut, edges run, trimmer through the tight spots, and cleanups when the season turns. Ground like this drinks a summer rain overnight and pushes new blades by the weekend, so the calendar never really loosens between May and October. There is a plain satisfaction in leaving a lawn with its cut lying even and the walk swept behind you. By the time most of the township is out on the road, several yards are already finished for the week.
