Lawn Connection

About Lawn Connection

On a June evening in Berlin Township the cul-de-sacs go golden around seven, bikes tipped over on their sides, a screen door banging somewhere down the block. Lawn Connection keeps those streets looking like people live well on them — weekly cutting, edging, trimming and the cleanups that bookend the season. A neighborhood carries a shared standard, unspoken and completely obvious, and every mowed strip either joins it or breaks it. The work is steady rather than showy: same day each week, same clean seam where turf meets pavement. By dusk the mower is loaded and the whole block looks as though it took care of itself.
