About Callahans Landscaping

Sunday mornings at the south end of Bergenfield are about as quiet as Bergen County ever gets, and a lawn cut the day before looks its absolute best in that quiet. Callahans Landscaping works toward exactly that — mowing on a set week, edges run along the walks, trimming around the fence posts and the mailbox, clippings cleared off the concrete before the truck moves on. Beds are mulched once the weather settles, and hedges are trimmed back so the house itself shows. Come autumn, leaf removal keeps the grass breathing; come the first mild weeks, a cleanup opens the yard up again. Nothing showy anywhere in it — just a borough of homes looking like people are home.
