The week before Memorial Day, Belmar wakes all at once — porches opened, shore houses aired out, and every lawn in town suddenly on display. Pete's Landscaping & Lawn Services meets that deadline with weekly mowing, close trimming and edged walks, plus the spring cleanup that gets a yard ready for a season of company. Through the summer it is the same steady turn: cut, trimmed and blown off so the paths stay clean for bare feet coming back from the beach. In autumn the leaves come down along the avenues and the cleanups begin again in reverse. Between May and November a Belmar lawn does a great deal of living, and the work is gladly keeping up with it.
