About Delahanty Landscaping, LLC

Silver Lake sits a block off the ocean at the north end of Belmar, and on a still May morning it holds the entire sky flat on its surface. Delahanty Landscaping keeps lawns in that part of town and the streets running inland from it — mowing, close trimming, edging along the walks, and the cleanups that open spring and close autumn. Salt air and sandy ground make shore turf its own particular problem, and the answer is mostly attention: cut at the right height, return on time, keep the lines true. There is real pleasure in a small yard done exactly right, striped and swept, with nothing left on the sidewalk. That is the work, week after week, from the first warm stretch to the last.
