Weedwurx

About Weedwurx

Winter arrives in this corner of Logan Township on a wind that comes straight off the Delaware, low and steady across fields with nothing to slow it down. Weedwurx meets it early — plowing driveways and clearing walks in Beckett while the sky over Bridgeport is still the color of iron, so the first car out finds pavement instead of drift. Salt goes down on the shaded stretches that hold ice past noon. Then the marsh greens up, the days stretch, and the same trucks come back for mowing, trimming and a tidy edge along the drive. Two halves of the year, one standard: get there first, leave it clean.
