Leary's Landscaping

About Leary's Landscaping

On the bay side of Beach Haven the water goes wide and shallow toward Little Egg Harbor, and in winter the whole island exhales — half the houses dark, the wind crossing unbroken. Leary's Landscaping stays through it, plowing driveways and opening walks after a storm, spreading salt on the stretch of path that always ices between the street and the door. Then the season turns and the work is green again: mowing, trimming, edging, mulch in the beds, everything cleared out in April and again in November. Lawns grown on sand answer quickly to being looked after, which makes the difference between a mowed yard and a maintained one easy to see. Twelve months on a barrier island, and the trucks know every street.
