A&W Seasonal Property Maintenance

About A&W Seasonal Property Maintenance

The Barnegat Branch Trail runs the length of this township on an old rail bed, and if you follow it in either direction you pass the kind of yards A&W Seasonal Property Maintenance keeps: sandy ground coaxed into lawn, hedges squared against the pine scrub, driveways that open toward Route 9 one way and the bay the other. Warm months, the work is mowing and edging until the lines look drawn rather than cut. Cold months, those same properties get plowed and treated, because a coastal storm here can arrive as rain, turn overnight, and leave four heavy inches behind by morning. The name says seasonal, and that is simply honest — the calendar only changes what the truck carries. What doesn't change is the walk around the property afterward, to see it whole.
