October comes down slowly in Audubon: the maples go first, then a week of leaves drifting into the gutters, then the first hard morning that frosts every windshield on the street. Kingsmen Landscaping meets the town on both sides of that turn, handling lawn care and landscape upkeep while the grass still grows and snow clearing once the storms start climbing the coast. A borough of small properties rewards attention to the corners — the strip between walk and curb, the bed line along the porch, the narrow drive that has to come out clean and not merely wide. Nothing out here is a big job, and every one of them is looked at daily by somebody who lives there. That is reason enough to finish it right.
