About Strommen Landscape Architecture, LLC

The Victorian blocks along Third Avenue were laid out by people who thought hard about proportion, and a lawn there is part of the composition. Strommen Landscape Architecture, LLC treats it that way — mowing lines kept true, edges cut exactly where the grass should stop, trimming worked in close to stone and stair rails. Early autumn is when the shore light goes clean and every line on a property shows itself. Seasonal cleanups take the leaves off before they mat down and dull the turf underneath. A lawn tended with that much attention holds the front of a house together the way a good frame holds a picture.
