About New Roots Landscaping LLC.

Andover lies in the limestone valley under the Kittatinny ridge, hayfields on one side and second-growth woods on the other, with the old rail bed running through as a trail. New Roots Landscaping LLC. mows and maintains the lawns in between — the ones that fade into meadow at the back fence and need a deliberate line to say where the yard ends. Sussex County summers come on slowly and stay cool at night, which is kind to grass and generous to anyone willing to keep after it. Spring cleanups, mulch in the beds, leaves hauled off before the first hard freeze: a plain calendar, worked in order. The reward is a valley lawn in late June, cut and striped, with the ridge standing blue behind it.
