About Deadwood Services & Construction LLC

There is nothing to stop the wind out on the Alloway flats, so when snow falls it does not stay where it lands — it travels, and it piles against the first driveway it finds. Deadwood Services & Construction LLC runs those roads in the dark hours, plowing farm lanes and village drives, breaking down the drifts that build across an open field boundary, and opening walkways to the door. Site and construction work through the rest of the year means the trucks already know every rutted approach and where the gravel gives way. Down here a storm can be rain at the creek and ice a mile inland, which is why the calls get answered by looking outside rather than at a forecast. Come daylight, the measure is simple: the drive is open and somebody can get to work.
