In Woodstock the mountains do the arranging: the Pemigewasset comes down out of the notch, Route 112 runs west toward Lost River, and the sun leaves the valley floor long before it leaves the ridgelines. Straight Cuts Landscaping earns its name on that uneven ground, mowing yards carved into hillsides, trimming around ledge and stumps, edging where lawn gives way to gravel drive. The growing season is short this far north, which makes a well-kept lawn in August feel like something genuinely worked for. Spring cleanups clear the sand and winter debris, and fall means getting leaves up fast before the weather turns hard. Woodstock, North Woodstock and the neighboring valley towns are the service area.
