About Carroll County Landscape

First light comes off Lake Winnipesaukee in a long silver sheet, and by then the mowers are already moving through wet grass on the slopes above Wolfeboro Falls. Carroll County Landscape works the shorelines and wooded lots of the Lakes Region — landscape design and installation, walks and terraces in brick, bluestone and pavers, boulder placements and stone retaining walls, lawns seeded or sodded, irrigation, bark mulching, pruning, aeration, spring and fall cleanups, perennial and container gardens, and snow cleared when the roads go white. There is a plain pleasure in what the day leaves behind: a bed edged clean against the pine duff, a lawn that holds the long shadows of a summer evening without a bare patch, a drive opened before the town is awake. Out here the woods come right to the doorstep, and much of the craft is coaxing the two back together until the house looks like it simply grew where it stands.
