About Creative Landscaping

The mower opens its first pass while the dew is still sitting heavy, the trimmer follows the line of an old granite wall, and then it comes down to hands — edges cut clean, clippings swept off the walk, the beds squared up before the truck rolls. This is lawn care in Windham, New Hampshire, where yards run up against oak and white pine and the ledge surfaces through the turf like a knuckle, and where the light off Cobbetts Pond turns everything gold by late afternoon. Summer here smells of cut grass; by October the whole town is buried in oak leaf until somebody comes and takes the lawn back. The pleasure of it is in the after — stripes holding straight across a slope, a crisp border, a yard that reads as tended from the road. Creative Landscaping keeps that going for properties in Windham and the towns around it.
